Idiot Redux

The relative humidity this morning was 94% again. And this wasn't me misreading the TV like I thought I did yesterday. This was the actual number. So, once again, I'm left thinking about what happens when we hit 100%. Isn't 100% just water? I do not want to leave my apartment on the day the air is 100% saturated with water. Gross.

Generally when the humidity is 100% it is raining... and there is a difference between relative humidity and absolute humidity and specific humidity... just to confuse you some more, but here is a link that will hopefully clear some things up for you...

There giving you relative humidity... bascically if you have 90% humidity than that means of the total amount of moisture that the air can hold (100%)is 90% full. I'm sure I learn this in DISP where were you, I was the one that would skip classes not you :)

You guys are awesome! I knew you would give me an answer, Kimm. And you, Annie, the girl who was too hung-over for the hang-over lecture! I don't know if I ever skipped a class in DISP.
